BEFORE Coming To Gymja
- Check children’s temperature
- Keep children home showing flu or cold symptoms
- Must be a Massachusetts resident
- If your child is high-risk for contagion consider not coming to camp
CHECK-IN
- Check-in starts at 8:40 am to avoid crowding
- Campers must enter through the glass door and exit through the side door
- Parents must remain outside Gymja unless required to sign-in for camp
- Children’s temperature will be taken at check-in and will be turned away if temperature over 100F or displays cold symptoms
- Staff will wear gloves if physical contact is required for temperature measurement
- Children (and parents dropping off) must wear masks
CAMP
- Camp is limited to 2 groups of 7 kids with a dedicated counselor each week
- Kids will remain in their group each week to avoid unnecessary contact
- Groups will have staggered lunch times to maintain distance
- Masks will be worn at all times by staff and campers except for lunch or activities where kids can maintain socially distance. Staff will continuously monitor distance
- There will be at least 2 staff during camp with CPR/First-aid training
- Obstacle cleaning will be done throughout the day
- Groups may utilize the Rail Trail or other outdoor space safe from vehicles
PICKUP
- Children must be picked up between 2:45 and 3:15
- Pickup will be at the side door (facing the parking lot)
